How long do you have to wait for results from an MRI?

If your MRI scan shows findings that may indicate illness, we will ensure that you receive a personal review with the responsible doctor. This can range from benign changes to more serious abnormalities that require further investigation.

The doctor will interpret and explain the report in detail, answer your questions and provide an initial medical assessment. Depending on what the examination shows, you may also be referred to a specialist, for example in neurology, orthopedics, urology or oncology, for further investigation and/or treatment.

We at Testmottagningen tar also have a medical responsibility for you as a customer. You are never alone with your answer – we will guide you through the next steps to the best of our ability, both medically competent and with care.
